A MISSIONAL COMMUNITY

Baughman Church is called to be disciple makers who serve the greater community so that we can demonstrate the saving power only found through Jesus Christ. We believe it is critical for every Christian to live out their faith in Jesus Christ through sharing the Gospel through word and action. We offer numerous opportunities for individuals to live out the practical means of grace through service. Our hope is to build God’s Kingdom locally, nationally, and internationally.

ACTIVE MISSIONS

You can do practical missions at Baughman Church every 5th Sunday of the month where we designate a mission such as the local schools, homeless population, first responders, and others. We will experience a hands-on-mission project at 10:00am during our worship time every 5th Sunday of the month. 


We offer several opportunities throughout the year such as Operation Christmas Child where we pack over 800+ boxes to be sent all throughout the world.  https://www.samaritanspurse.org/what-we-do/operation-christmas-child/


You can help serve at our Free Community meals every first Wednesday of the month. This is a great way to meet others in the New Cumberland community, to hear other people’s life stories, and to provide a meaningful meal.


We provide even more opportunities to serve the greater community through Downtown Daily Bread. This vital mission outreach helps those living in the inner city of Harrisburg have a free meal. You can make a difference!.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

Baughman Church has covenanted to support five international missionaries and/or mission projects. We are making a difference in countries like Ecuador, Ukraine, Mozambique, and Israel. Our prayer is to share the Gospel of Christ all around the world.
